President’s illegal uncle surrenders license for 45 days
Onyango Obama — the president’s illegal alien half uncle — admitted to sufficient facts today in his drunken driving bust and his case is being continued without a finding for one year — but he must surrender his license.Yep. Continued without a finding - that means, basically, that if Unkie Alkie can keep his illegal nose clean for a year, this never happened. Now, if that were me who almost plowed into a police car with a BAC of nearly twice the legal limit, I strongly suspect I would not receive such a lenient sentence. In fact, OUI is now an automatic disqualifier for a MA LTC - even though it's not a felony.
Obama, 67, was ordered to give up his license for 45 days, effective today, a Framingham District Court judge ruled. He left court without speaking to the press.
I really like how they suspended his license for 45 days. He's an illegal alien - how the bloody hell does he even HAVE a MA license? And a whole month and a half! Oh, the humanity! I'll bet $50 he gets a "hardship" exception that lets him drive to work - at the liquor store. Now, I'm certain that Unkie Alkie's famous nephew had nothing to do with his lenient sentence, right?

Sort of.
It's not a felony, but it's got a 2 1/2 year maximum possible sentence, so you get those awesome Federal felony penalties coming into effect - including the one where you're a prohibited person until MA gives you your full firearms rights back.
So 5 years later, when MA gives you the right to receive an FID and own long guns, you still get nailed federally as a "felon in possession" because the ATF still considers you a prohibited person since MA won't let you have a pistol.
