Some Good News for The Day...

The SAF continues to kick ass and take names - in Massachusetts, of all places...

The court ruled in favor of the plaintiffs and lawful permanent resident aliens are clear to get their LTCs pending any appeal the state may choose to take.

Fletcher v. Haas has been brought in federal court to challenge unconstitutional practice of restricting resident aliens fundamental individual right to keep and bear arms.

Under the current law, lawful alien residents of Massachusetts are prohibited from applying for the licenses required to purchase any firearm in the Commonwealth or even to possess most firearms, including all handguns and many rifles and shotguns. This suit seeks to bring parity for firearms rights to legal resident aliens of the US. A parity that legal aliens possess in virtually every other jurisdiction in the US.

In addition to Comm2A, this case is supported by the Second Amendment Foundation, Inc. Joseph Hickson is the plaintiff's attorney.

It's a small step, but it's in the right direction. Congrats to Comm2A and the SAF!!!

That is all.

Welcome! Glad to see Mass. getting a toe in the door to Free America. Some Chinese guy said the journey begins with but a single step - you are on your way.

stay safe.

Wish the Judge had ruled that ALL those "Volksrepublik" Gun Laws were Unconstitutional, but this is still a Good Thing.

Seems like a little common sense is in the air. New York just repealed the law that required the state police to keep a worthless ballistic database that was costing over a million a year, but hasn't solved a crime in ten years of operation.
