Ahhhhh...

Coffee has been achieved...

Yes, the only way to end 40 days without java was a Dunks large regular...

That is all.

After 40 days, a Box O' Joe® seems to be in order ...!

That's odd. The USGS hasn't registered any earthquakes in the area. Are you sure you didn't get decaf by mistake, Jay?

I gave up caffeinated beverages for Lent, as well.

Why yes, I'll be enjoying Easter supper with Moutain Dew...

My mother-in-law is out visiting from Ct right now, and the thing she complains about the most if the coffee.

Starbucks drip is too dark, and an Iced Vanilla Latte is not the same as light and sweet Iced French Vanilla at Dunkins....and the price is WAY to expensive.

Jay,

I don't know what's tougher . . . giving up coffee for 40 days no bread, pasta, corn (& corn products), beans, etc. for 8 days. Lucky for my sephardic tradtion, rice is ok. Whew.

Next Lenten Season, give up shaving your head and go for the Chia Pet Look. You could have DIED from Low Caffeine Levels!

You poor, poor people back East. Stuck with Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks, not a quality local roaster in sight.

Can't swing a dead cat in Anchorage without hitting a roadside coffee cart offering one of three local premium roaster's products.

Makes me glad my folks left Braintree for the Last Frontier before I was born. =)

(other businesses that same cat carcass will impact before completing a full 360? A church, gun store, liquor store, and bar; the latter two with multiple local brews.)
