The Amazing Jaynac Will Now Predict...

Brad_in_MA sends in confirmation that I am prescient about the lenient MA "justice" system...

Obama’s uncle back on road after plea
President Obama’s illegal-immigrant uncle has received a limited driver’s license from the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles only a week after entering a plea to drunken driving.

An RMV spokeswoman told the Boston Herald that Onyango Obama, 67, “met all of the criteria” for a hardship driver’s license that allows him to drive in Massachusetts from noon to midnight. The elder Mr. Obama lost his regular license for 45 days in court last week but convinced a hearing officer that being unable to drive would pose an undue hardship for him in his job as a liquor store manager.
Now, he lost his license for 45 days. If only there were a local bus system he could use to get around town! Oh, the humanity! There are so many levels of fail in this story that it's almost scary. First, we have the continued lack of penalty for those who drive while intoxicated in Massachusetts. I've presented a number of stories of folks on their 5th, 6th, 8th, etc. offense - and we just keep slappin' them on the wrist and sending them back out on the road. Next, we have the stupidity of an illegal alien having a driver's license, period. And finally, there's the coup-de-grace that he lost his license for a month and a half and couldn't even man up to that penalty.

And I'd just like to note that I called this when he was found guilty:
I'll bet $50 he gets a "hardship" exception that lets him drive to work - at the liquor store.
Where do I collect my $50?

That is all.

Pretty sure I'd not have taken that bet. Considering that MA has one of hte better mass transit systems I've had to deal with.....

How is it that Unkie Alkie is an illegal with a driver's license, and that his employer is not being prosecuted for hiring an illegal alien? Having married into a family with illegals, I'm 100% convinced that prosecution of employers is the most effective and humane way of enticing people to go back the hell to their homes.
