Just received an e-mail alerting me to the fact that 5.11 is now taking orders for the tactical kilt.
They're promising shipment by September 1st. I'm really hoping they can beat that by a couple of weeks, because September 1st is the start of the second Kilted to Kick Cancer campaign, in which I will again be participating. I'd really love to have a new kilt to wear before the campaign actually kicks off. I've still got my brother-in-law's kilt on loan, but I'd *much* rather have one of my own (well, two, actually. At the price 5.11 is asking - $60 - that's such a bahgain I sprang for two).
Hopefully you'll get to see me in all my newly kilted glory come September 1st!

Open Invitation for New Shooters
Just want to extend an open invitation to all potential new shooters in the Northern Virginia area. If you have never shot a firearm, or would like to get back into the shooting sports, or are an accomplished shooter who'd like to try something in my arsenal, give me a shout.

I ordered the OD and will order a multicam if they figure it out in time.
