Just from what I've heard from the S&W rep, it's going to be MA compliant. I've already got a request in for a T&E sample when it's available. The trigger will need work (for MA), but I think this is a solid hit for S&W.
I can't wait to test this one out!
That is all.

There were 20 here and they were gone in a day. I want to get my hands on one!
Why will the trigger need work?
The Thumb safety negates any of that.
That's why Kahr added that stupid safety to their Mass Complaint guns, they didn't feel the need to make a Massachusetts or NY trigger, so they just put the lever on and shipped the same trigger as the non-compliant guns have.
Same reason why you can have a 1911 with a decent trigger in Mass
I think you should have just stopped at "the trigger will need work". I tried it numerous times at the NRA-AM and found it mushy.
I talked to the guys at Apex Tactical and they are working on a kit for the Shield.
