So Wrong... And Yet So Awesome...

Commenter notDilbert sends in this rather disturbingly awesome video from Top Gear:

I'm torn. On the one hand, I love the Porsche 928. Oh, I know that it's not *really* a Porsche - rather than being a rear-engine, air-cooled six cylinder, it's a front-engine, water-cooled V8. But still... It *was* in Risky Business, after all... And the flip side - getting to crush it with an M1 Abrams tank? How cool is that?

I'd still feel a lot better if they had crushed a BMW, though...

That is all.

A) I really wish NetFlix would update Top Gear, since I no longer feed Directv, and B) You know Tam drives a Beemer, right? And Indianapolis isn't that far from St. Louis.....

OOOH! It just hit me! Your Most Favorite Presidential Candidate in the World, YOUR Former Governor, MITT ROMNEY is going to the NRA Convention!

Get an Interview for the Squirrel Report, okay? You have Press Credentials, right? And take Pictures!

Take your Blood Pressure Meds now, Jay. ; )

It would have been a lot cooler if Tom Cruise was still in the 928 when the Abrams rolled over it. Because after watching Cruise slobbering all over the lovely Rebecca de Mornay in that movie, I've loathed him ever since.

Also, for similar reasons, I want to gag every time Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock And Roll" comes on the radio.

HP Lovecraft was right: There are some things that man was never meant to see. And Tom Cruise lip-synching Seger in his underwear surely counts as one example... ;)

The Top Gear Geek in me sez that it's not Top Gear but the Hamster's new show, Crash Course.

Regardless I love me some Top Gear. If you haven't checked it out yet the US version on the History Channel is pretty good.

Poor Hamster....the producers did that to him on purpose....At least in these vehicles he has no chance of ending up upside down at 200 mph digging a trench with his face.
