Immunity and 20 Minutes...

That's all I ask for in regards to this story:

Prosecutor: Murder Of Burlington Mother Broadcast On iPad Camera
WOBURN (CBS) – The brutal murder of a mother in Burlington last week was broadcast live on her daughter’s iPad web camera, investigators revealed Monday.
Thirty-nine-year-old Christopher Piantedosi pleaded not guilty to murder at his arraignment in Woburn District Court.
Assistant District Attorney Nicole Allain said Piantedosi stabbed his former girlfriend, Kristen Pulisciano, 34 times with a butcher knife last Thursday evening in the home they once shared.
That's 34 times in front her her daughter, mind you. This... animal (and I apologize for offending any animals that might be reading, but he is certainly not a man) brutally murdered a woman in front of her own daughter and the killing was broadcast over the air. Why is there even a trial? Immunity and 20 minutes, that's all that's needed, to put this animal out of its misery. Shoot this bastard down like a rabid dog and bury him in a shallow grave outside of town.

Of course, this being Massachusetts, he'll probably plead to manslaughter and be out of jail in 8 years. Imagine the horror that poor girl must be going through. She watched her mother get murdered in a horrible, violent, graphic manner; and she'll get to be the star witness at the murder trial. She'll get to have her entire 15 years scrutinized by some defense attorney hoping to impugn her credibility. And, most likely, watch her mother's killer get barely a slap on the wrist.

But hey! She wasn't killed with a firearm, so Massachusetts's draconian laws worked! No candle for her...

That is all.

Why do you continue to live in this horrible state, Jay?

Four pick-up trucks and rope... I'll drive.

The history freak in me leans more in the direction of either impalement, or crucifixion. Although part of me still thinks THAT would still be much too good for him.

Steven, I'll happily volunteer my pick-up truck and driving services....

Flogging and a public hanging for that animal might help some others with their impulse control.

Crosses, trucks... that's a lot of ceremony for a rabid dog. I think Jay has the right idea. If you make a show of it you start getting kooks like that guy in Arizona who see it as a way to become famous. Rabid dogs don't deserve to be famous.

" Why is there even a trial?"

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation"

In the Muslim world, of course, all he'd have to say is that she was a whore because she bathed twice in the same calendar month.

My Viking ancestors had a little trick they called "the bloody eagle."
I think that's just what Jay ordered.

Hanging is too good for that asshole...

Having been a professional trapper for more than 7 years, I would vote for a heavy cable snare around the neck, no hand restraints and a tipped over stool.

It wouldn't be quick, but it would be painful...

I'd like a lot more than twenty minutes with the asshole.

Why waste a perfectly good bullet? Just bury his sorry ass in a deep grave outside of town.

"Immunity and twenty minutes."

Yeah, I could go with that - and I'll negotiate on the immunity.

I'm telling you, scaphism needs come back. We need punishments that are actual deterents to crime.
