This is real? I'd seen this kicking around the political-type internets and simply assumed that it was a parody. Honestly??? The Obama campaign comes up with the same, tired, class warfare BS that's been played for the past two generations by the left, only putting a sickeningly pandering sexist spin on it? This is the same Barack Obama that has been caught calling women "honey" and "sugar" and basically being just about as condescending to women as huMANly possible?
And then they go ahead and name the "woman" in question Julia????????
Did NO ONE in the entire campaign department think this through? Has NO ONE on the entire Obama campaign staff read Orwell? Seriously? Or is this some hipster irony thing - you see, "Julia" won't have be shuttled off to Room 101 if Barack Obama is re-elected, but she will if Mitt Romney is? Because, you know, those evil Republicans want to keep women in the kitchen, blah blah blah. What scares me most is that there are still people that fall for this claptrap.
Obama has shown his true colors often enough that for anyone paying attention it is not Mitt Romney who is the real misogynist. From accepting donations from Bill Maher to being accused of sexism to calling female reporters "sweetie", there's a decent body of evidence that the Lightbringer himself has a nasty anti-woman streak - one that was fairly clear when dealing with Hillary! Clinton as a Democrat rival and made even more clear when he condones attacks on female conservatives.
But, for the love of pete, (do it to) Julia? SRSLY???

LOL, yep, they obviously have NOT read the same novels we have...
Or, alternatively, they HAVE read the same novels the rest of us have - like 1984 and Atlas Shrugged, specifically - and are using them as how-to manuals rather than cautionary tales.

I've spoken with several people with "Obama 2012" stickers. Their arguments FOR Obama are:
1. Racist!
2. Sexist!
3. Global Warming!
Any mention of trivial subject such as National Debt, Unemployment, National Defense are met with:
1. Racist!
2. Sexist!
3. Global Warming!
And without Voter ID enforced nation wide they're gonna steal the election in November.
Of course they've read Orwell. They just see his books as a series of "how to"manuals, rather than as the warnings they're supposed to be.
