Men in Skirts, Part II

Ambulance Driver reminds us that Kilted to Kick Cancer, Year II is less than four months away.

I am, in the words of the NRA from this past convention, "ALL IN" on this one. I've been made privvy to some of the prizes being offered, and let me just say that, without giving anything away, they totally rock. Major mad props to the folks that have donated items already, and I'm sure we will see more information as the event draws closer.

This year AD is exempting himself from the prizes, but I've got a score to settle. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve, and my goal is to be the number one fundraiser this year. AD wants to raise $50K this year; I want to be a big part of that total. I have two kilts on order from 5.11, and will be ordering a third. My intention is to post a kilted picture of myself every single day of September - and will be available for requests, as well.

Thank you all for your support last year, and I hope you'll help me crush Kelly win this year!

That is all.

Looking forward to getting my 5.11 kilts as well. I'm thinking a kilted blog dinner/shoot might be in order.

I think a kilted blogshoot is a FANTASTIC idea.

I'm kinda grumbly about 5.11 not being able to deliver on the Multicam ones... I'll probably be spending my September (and most of the next 12 months or so) in Multicam.

Looking forward for my 5.11 Kilt to come in. Also where can we get a Kilted to Kick Cancer T-shirt?

You'll never top your Marilyn Monroe pose.

There. The gauntlet has been flung.

Don't fling gauntlets at Jay. The rest of us will pay the price when the pics get posted, and I'm fresh out of eyebleach.

If anyone is looking for a kilt *other than* the 5.11 kilt, www.sportkilt.com has lots of options.

I, too, ordered the 5.11 kilt (black), specifically with Kilted to Kick Cancer in mind. (That, and the ultimate in going commando.) If there be t-shirts, make sure you advertise that; it'll go a long way in the pics!

A kilted blogshoot? Remember men, when drawing from concealment, while wearing a kilt and a solid holster, there is...nothing...to pull against, like pants. Do not act surprised if your kilt becomes a mini-skirt. Hilarity will ensue.
