Now, recently Amazon has gone whole-hog into the firearms accessory market. It seems as though they've realized that there's quite a bit of coin to be made selling stuff to gunnies - holsters, optics, magazines (they claim 10 rounds only, but there are a LOT of "10 round" AR p-mags available...), etc. I do not, however, think they've gotten their FFL. Then again, with the recent TV/Sig 716 kerfluffle...
Something tells me this isn't quite legit. Ya think?

well, it proves Brady/MAIGs assertion that you can just order guns online and therefore we need reasonable gun control laws and to close the loopholes!
Amazon sells a lot of stuff for other merchants. They provide listings and payment services, and the merchants ship the product. I suppose they could do that for FFLs as well.
But I suspect this is a gag. There's no indication of who's actually offering it.
When I saw that earlier today it did have a storefront associated with it. Something from electronics oddly enough. I want to say "OpticsGuy" was the handle, but I'm not positive.
Just looked for his storefront at amazon and it's been wiped. They have the link, but it doesn't show anything.
Me thinks someone got into trouble.
I just received some gun parts from Amazon. My wife screwed up and signed us up for a year of Prime.(grumble) So part of her penance is ordering oddball stuff for me.
I especially enjoyed reading this negative review.

I dont know about you but i would definitely pay the $400 he paid for the tv for that rifle.
Even if Amazon suddenly started to allow sales of firearms, would you buy one through them? I would not, as I would not through Ebay either. I would stick with auction sites like GunBroker.com or AuctionArms.com (now Gunauction.com) if only because I knew the old timers were gun friendly from the start and not just money hungry auction sites seeking to expand. Of course, after awhile of a site like Amazon proving itself as gun friendly, I might venture to make transaction through them but they would have to prove themselves first.
