So, this Friday's gun pr0n is #308. Because this is G-d's Own Caliber, I was originally planning on posting my two rifles chambered in .308 Winchester (Savage Model 10 and VEPR).
And then Wally offered up a couple beauties from his stash.
So, I figured, what the heck. Let's do a .308 roundup (and yes, 7.62X51mm counts. My blog, my rules). If'n you so desire, shoot me a picture of your .308 for Friday's pic roundup.
Let's see those beautiful rifles in G-d's Own caliber!
That is all.

Sigh. I guess I''ll just have to wait for #762. Or 30-06. (Wait, isn't that 24? I missed it!)
Maybe I can score a .308 rifle by Friday. Yeah, right.
Hey... how about 7.62x54mmR ???? Miss Lyudmila hasn't danced in a while.
Thank you McThag!
Sorry Dave. Just wait another 49 weeks until #357, though... :)
Brad,
7.62X54mmR != G-d's Own Caliber. :)
Sent...hope you don't mind I sent a bunch :o)

Jay: Thanks, but I don't own a .357 either. I have a .380 but it's hardly unique, and all my (relatively) unique guns are metric.
DPMS LR 308B. 18" cryo treated bull barrel, Weaver 4 ~ 20 X 50mm Superslam FFP scope, modified JP trigger, Magpul MOE grip. With my handloads, easily a consistent sub moa rifle. An EEeeeevil black rifle that makes gun fearing wusses wet their pants.
