Everything's made right here in the US of A; everything's CNC-machined and then hand-finished - and the craftsmanship is absolutely stunning. The pictures above do NOT do their wares justice. I can honestly say I was speechless at just how beautiful their products are. Oh, sure, it doesn't hurt that they showcase their stocks on some beautiful firearms, but they had a couple well-loved Model 36s and even some Taurii revolvers that looked every bit as lovely wearing fine wood stocks from Altamont.
And now that I've got you drooling, you can go buy these stocks - they're eminently reasonably priced, too!

I can't seem to find the long gun stocks on their website. The AR stock got my attention, mainly because if they (or someone else) made something like that without the thumbhole it would be a way around the enhanced AWB that is likely to pass here in CT (any longarm with a pistol grip or thumbhole stock will be banned).
This comes at just the right time for me. I will be picking up a new (well, used) revolver in a few days and want to get some new grips for it. These Altamonts are about $30 cheaper than the ones at Hogue and look just as nice.
That one "cool handgun stock" is on an engraved 1911, notA1. Old.
And I would have guessed "AK" on the wood shoulder slock/hand grip combo. "Philistine!"

Wow, you're not kidding about the price- these are CHEAP! Most of the grips are in the $30-50 range. I would have expected $75-100 just looking at the pics on the website. I'm happy with my custom super-slim Alumagrips on my 1911, though, but I'll be shopping at Altamont in the future.
