There are two things that my gun club really has going for it. The first is that it's four miles away. The second is this:
That's our 24/7 indoor range. It's somewhat limited - the backstop is an angled steel plate that deflects rounds into a sandbox - so we are limited to lead ammunition only and no Magnum calibers. Mostly I shoot .22LR here during the winter months when it's really cold out - or after hours. However, lead round nose .38 Special is okay, so I'll practice with my carry wheelguns. Usually it's the Ruger LCR, but yesterday I opted for a second, rarer carry option:
Smith & Wesson Model 13, what used to be the "FBI Special". 3" heavy barrel, round butt. Not a bad shooter at all. While the capacity is a lot less than a comparably sized auto-loader, being able to put six rounds of 125 grain .357 Magnum goodness into a 3" circle at rapid fire isn't exactly helpless... I do not feel undergunned carrying this in the least...
The pile of .22LR you see was generated by the Ruger 22/45 in both shots as well as a second, new .22LR addition. Yesterday, I picked up two new T&E guns that will be rolled out this coming Friday and next, and one of them I couldn't wait so it came with me to the range. I like it a lot already... The other one I'll have to schedule some time on the outdoor range - but given the interest it received from the gun store alone, I think I may spend more time showing it off than shooting it...
Any time you can throw lead downrange is a good time; it's even better if you can share the gunnie goodness...
That is all.

Nice grouping there! And a good time at the range is definitely good for the BP too!!! :-)
How are you guys on air filtration? When I was shooting a lot of Bullseye a friend had his blood tested and his doc found unhealthy amounts of lead. Breathed in. The 'people' running the range wouldn't change the filters often enough.
