I Got Nothin'...

So here's a picture of a cat on a roof. No hot tin, though.

Enjoy your Sunday, folks - I'm off to the range!

That is all.

"Okay, I can do this. I gotta remember - one if by land, two if by sea. One if by land, two if by sea. One if... um, two... one, sea.

"Wait a minute. I can't count."

Okay -- how many people know this joke that has a cat on the roof that they can't get down?

Subsonic .22 and plenty of acreage behind the house FTW...

Used to have a cat that would somehow get on the neighbor's roof and sit on a corner, surveying his domain.

Cats always get down. How many cat skeletons have you seen on roofs or in trees?

Okay, here it is:

A man is on vacation and his brother is taking care of his cat. The man calls his brother to check in and asks, "How is the cat?" The brother says, "The cat's dead." The man is distraught. He says, "You can't just tell me like that. You have to ease me into it. The first day, you tell me the cat's on the roof and you can't get her down. The second day, you tell me the cat fell and she's in a coma. Then on the third day you can tell me the cat died." The brother apologizes profusely. Then the man says, "It's ok. Don't worry about it. How's mom?" The brother responds, "Mom's on the roof and we can't get her down."

Sorry.

I had a cat once that had "issues" with getting down. It climbed a tree a couple of times and then meowed until I climbed up and retrieved it. The third time I just turned the cat "around" (i.e., head down) and put it against the trunk. There wasn't a forth time.

As to the roof: different house a couple of years later. The cat would climb a tree and jump to the roof. Jumping back seems outside its talents. Same drill: twice I got out the ladder and retrieved the cat. Third time I picked up the cat and threw it at the tree. There wasn't a forth time.

Cat still climbed trees and still hung out on the roof. It just didn't bother me about it.
