So, today's the big day, folks. Getting together with SCI-FI and Wally to stuff envelopes and get ready to ship out the long-awaited York Arms T-shirt. Thanks to my awesome MSOffice-fu I was able to turn the giant honkin' spreadsheet of names and addresses into tidy little address labels, so your T-shirts will ship out looking all professional and stuff (except for the ONE PERSON OUT THERE who CHANGED HIS ADDRESS on me... Ahem.)
Now, the hard part... Several folks have contacted me to let me know that checks are on the way. Totally cool. A couple folks whom I know personally that have not sent checks but I will vouch for still have to get me money. There's still nearly a dozen folks that claimed T-shirts and have not sent in a check nor contacted me about payment. This is the hard part about running something like this - folks, I want everyone to get the shirt they want, but we ran this on the lean side to get the shirts out.
I'll be sending out an e-mail to the folks that haven't sent in checks or contacted me. Basically, your shirts will be remanded to Wally for delivery, and you'll need to talk to him about payment/shipping. The goal was to have extra $$$ left over to allow Wally to purchase extra shirts to have in the shop, and it looks like we're going to be able to do that quite handily - numerous people sent in checks well in excess of their total. Thanks, folks.
Shirts should be going out sometime next week, so you should see them by the end of the week or so. I'd love to get a bunch of pictures of folks in their York Arms shirts (ideally, of course, with a York Arms product...) If you want in, just e-mail me a picture with your York Arms shirt on (just the shirt if you're camera shy). I'd love to have a montage available of all the shirts out there!
Oh, and I'll be wearing mine at the NRA convention in May - just need to see which 5.11 kilt looks best with it...
That is all.
