War On Women...

Yeah, this sums it up nicely...

I love the dichotomy. If you want to cut funding so that folks have to pay for their own birth control, that's a "war on women" and you're a misogynist pig. If you claim that a firearm that has two control levers and one button is too complicated for a woman to use, that's perfectly alright. Suggesting that women not dress provocatively to avoid attracting rapists is horrifying and demeaning, but suggesting that they urinate or vomit on themselves to make them less attractive isn't.

Look. Statements are misogynist no matter who makes them. If a statement coming out of the mouth of a politician you have a philosophical difference with is offensive, then that statement is offensive if it comes out of the mouth of a politician you agree with. Period. Full stop. It is the height of hypocrisy to claim that a statement is offensive in one example but not in another. Joe Biden's comments about an AR being "too complicated" for a woman should offend EVERYONE - and taken in light of his own administration bragging about being the first to deploy women in combat, it's mind-bogglingly hypocritical.

Be offended by what is said, not who is saying it.

That is all.

Well, in Biden's Case, I chose to be Offended by what he says AND by him AND by his Position of Authority.

But I've hated that SOB since the Reagan Years and how he ALWAYS Voted to Screw the Military, so I might be a little bit prejudiced...

Heh. While the "war on women" is non-existent, I love that the left has invented it, and has discovered that the left is its own enemy. As per usual, Biden has shot himself in the foot with that shotgun.

OR! We could all stop being offended at what some idiot says and get on with our lives.

And we can stop listening to the professionally offended while we're at it.

That's in ObamaCare: "If you like your rapist you can keep him."

If you're having trouble finding a rapist, federal law enforcement will releasing thousands of criminals into an urban center near you.
