Burke's Bacon Bar, New Chicago Restaurant, Serves Only Sandwiches With Bacon In Them
Chef David Burke is known as one of the country's most innovative chefs; he's been credited with inventing salmon pastrami, cheesecake lollipops and (implausibly) tuna tartare. His latest endeavor isn't quite as groundbreaking as all that -- but it's still pretty epic. They even have bacon desserts. I'm not certain that it would be worth braving Chicago just for a meal composed entirely of bacon, but it's way ahead of any other reason to visit the Windy City. I do, however, fully support this idea taking off, with the understanding that it become a chain similar to McDonalds. If there's anything that could improve the image of the United States abroad, it would be a chain of all-bacon restaurants...
This week, the chef opened a new restaurant called Burke's Bacon Bar in Chicago's River North neighborhood, which is as close to an all-bacon restaurant as ever opened in the United States.
Mmmmm. Baaaaacon...
That is all.

If that's the only food that'd get you to Chicago, y'all need to check out the ChiBBQKing blog, especially the recurring Italian beef sandwich ratingS.
And the hot dogs and sausages.
And the burgers.
And now I gotta go mop my keyboard...
Again.

I can get bacon anywhere. It'll take more than that to get me to go to Chicago.
Now pizza... that might do it.
If I had easy access to Chicago's foodstuffs, I'd be working full-time in chasing Indiana Jones through ruined temples.
CAIR has filed a suit to close the new establishment as their menu definitely discriminates against Muslims.
Why bother with Mordor? You can visit a restaurant named Bacon in the city of Boise, capitol of the Freehold of Idaho. I'll let you posit a wager as to the menu.
