Truck Stuck Under Storrow Drive Overpass
BOSTON (CBS) – It’s a sign that summer is coming to an end and school will be starting soon in Boston.A bird's song is the music of spring, and waves gently lapping the shore provides the music for summer. Winter is quiet, a thick blanket of white snow muting sounds and hiding signs of life. But fall? Fall is filled with the sounds of leaves rustling, children returning to school, and trucks scraping the overpass.
A moving truck got stuck under the overpass on Storrow Drive eastbound Monday afternoon near the Liberty Hotel.
Such are the rites of passage in a NannyState where we "discourage self-help" (like reading the damn signs for height maximums)...
That is all.

If Nanny State would quit putting up warning signs for every damned thing, people wouldn't be too distracted to read the important ones.
Every time I see a truck-hit-the-bridge video I think of this one, The toughest bridge in the world

If your truck gets stuck, the gummint will come and help you.
Who won the pool this year, I wonder?
My buddy's dad owned a tow truck company and used to joke about this- he had a nice deal with the staties in our area after getting a wedged truck out by deflating the tires.
