Mass. Senate president issues warning about mice
BOSTON (AP) - Massachusetts senators are being urged to end their practice of keeping candy in their desks after mice searching for the treats also chewed the senators' microphone wires.Ironic, isn't it, that the MA state house has a rodent problem? Not only that, but there's mice there, too! And the irony - they chewed through the microphone wires. Obviously even the vermin don't want to hear what the MA statehouse has to say...
Senate President Therese Murray made the plea Thursday during a formal session.
I do hope no disease was spread - but then again, mice have the good sense to stay away from congresscritters...
That is all.

The little fur-bearing varmints are showing up in all sorts of semi-official capacities. Lawdog's been posting some of his dailies from the Bugscuffle County Jail, and apparently a mouse named Eduardo has taken up residence in the control room.
Snakes, rats, and mice never get along together.
