More from the "odd and curious" stuff I have sitting around my house...
Yes, Three Stooges beer. No, I have no idea where it came from. It was found in the very back of one of the kitchen cabinets, and I must have gotten it right around when we moved into the house (1999). We had one cabinet where we kept our liquor - before we had kids - so it dates this to pre-2001 at the latest.
No, I didn't try it - when I poured it out in the sink it kinda glopped...
That is all.

I wonder if it is brewed with water from NIAGARA FALLS!
LOL! That stuff is worth money to the right buyer. You're pouring MONEY down the drain!

HAW!
(Man, I hope not. I've seen what's upstream of the falls. (Love Canal, Buffalo, Lake Erie - although Erie is quite a bit cleaner than it used to be.))
Several friends and I had a 12 pack of "Milwaukee's Best Light Beer" that made the rounds from party to party without ever being opened for over 5 years. When a member of our group moved half way across the country I stashed it in a box marked "Misc" that we loaded in his uhaul. He found it three years later and was packaging it up to mail back to one of us when his dear wife intervened and poured it out.
I am surprised it didn't pull your nose and slap you several times while going nuk, nuk, nuk.
I searched on "panther brewing co three stooges" and was shocked to see how much that beer was worth to collectors!
"how much that beer was worth to collectors!"
Really? I found a bottle of Curly's Light beer in the basement the other day.
...
Eh, nuts. Not going to retire on that after all. Worse yet, now I want a can of Three Stooges Beer. Sigh.
This was a limited time production product. I bought a six pack just for the novelty, but it was actually a pretty good beer.
It's too bad they stopped making it, but I guess that once the novelty wore off the market went away.
Sort of like "Billy Beer" but it didn't taste like warm urine.
I hope you saved the bottles and other packaging. Could be used for Squeeks fund raiser.
OMG! There is a six pack of these hanging out in the hall closet at my house!
I've officially commented on this blog post on my own blog . . . Cheers!
