Santa Warns In Greenpeace Video Christmas Will Be Canceled Due To Global Warming
WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Greenpeace is warning children the world over Santa Claus might not be bringing gifts to them because of global warming.Ironically, of course, because the South Pole recorded the lowest temperature ever three years ago. I do like how they're still stubbornly clinging to the "global warming" even though we've seen very recent record colds around the world. The debate still rages (despite the science being settled, of course).
A “Save the Arctic” video released by the environmental group shows a sullen and dirty Santa – played by Jim Carter of “Downton Abbey” — in a dark, concrete room with water dripping from the ceiling.
You know, though, I take this as a good sign. They have to resort to cheap scare tactics and stunts to push the same tired agenda - obviously they're getting through to fewer people with traditional tactics. They're degenerating into scaring kids about Santa Claus - what's next? Is the Easter bunny going to have to take heat exhaustion breaks when delivering Easter baskets? The Tooth Fairy can't leave a quarter under the pillow because she spent all her money on air conditioning?
That they have to turn to such tired, hackneyed methods makes me wonder if we're seeing the last dying dregs of a failed
That is all.

There's something really interesting about that lowest temperature ever recorded thing in Antarctica: it's almost mid summer's day there. This season is the warmest time of the year in the southern hemisphere.
Never mind - I just RTFM'ed. It was in July (winter down there).
Yep, it's almost funny... Almost...
Stunts like this is why I keep bayonets for my rifles.
Some bastards you just wanna hear squeal.
The correct term is "interglaciation".
