Yeah, I can see this becoming a regular feature for the next few weeks...
You know, I really miss the brass sound. Seems like it went out of style along with popped collars and pegged parachute pants. Some things were good to lose. Others, like a killer brass section, should be about due for a comeback...
Anyways, have a great rock 'n' roll Christmas!
That is all.

Brass did more for popular music than computers ever did.
(Although in this case it's a sax, which I believe counts as a woodwind.)
See, this is where you're wrong. Wrong, on the INTERNET!
Brass doesn't belong in Rock and Roll music - Bo Diddley didn't need a brass section, nor did Chuck Berry.
Brass does belong in Jazz in all its forms (Swing, especially) - and this is where Dave H's comment really comes in. Brass has plenty of room in popular music ... just not Rock and Roll.
(And the saxophone is an abomination in Rock, ruining pretty much every song in which it is present.
See, oh, the horrid sax solo at the end of Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Part 1...)
Sigivald: So what do you call the sax intro in Your Latest Trick? Or pretty much anything Clarence Clemons played with the E Street Band?
Sorry, but I think a sax is an essential part of Rock & Roll.
Jay Missed the Ska craze, as well as the swing revival of the late 90s...
