When bad things happen to good carsHere are some of the worst:
This one's the worst, because that's a '69 GTO Judge, my second favorite car of all time.
Dodge Charger that has definitely seen better days.
Mustang Mach 1 that is going to need a paint job and a s**tload of screen doors.
Finally, this one is so badly damaged I can't tell what it is.
There's one unifying message here. If you can't handle the power your car puts out, don't push it. It's quite simple. I have no idea what the circumstances were for each wreck, but I can tell that they all happened at moderate to high speeds - you don't do that kind of damage to a vehicle at 30 MPH.
Please, for the sake of the awesome old cars, drive within your limits...
That is all.

That last isn't a car...it's Obamacare.
#2 and #4 are the same car.
They don't look like T-bone crashes. I guess #2/4 could be, but the others look like someone took a pole broadside.
Looks to me that we need a lot more "break-a-trees". Contact your congress critter and ask for more laws to ban trees near high speed bends in rural roadways !!!!
It's like when the dot.com bubble created all those new millionaires and several of them went out and bought high-performance World War Two fighters just because their egos demanded it and they could afford them. It didn't matter to them that they typically didn't have the training and experience to fly such aircraft. There are fewer of those old planes now as a result. But wings or wheels, high-performance vehicles are typically one-mistake machines.
My question is, why are those scrap piles (and in at least the GTO's case, obvious death scene) in someone's yard/driveway? That's just weird.
I literally almost rolled a tear
