That's Stretch and Marty with me. We had a small gathering of friends over the weekend and the three of us wore our kilts for the occasion. It was a first for me, the first time I'd open-carried in a kilt. Talk about not knowing which thing to feel uncomfortable about! I'm still getting used to the idea that people don't automatically call the SWAT team for an exposed holster...
I'm tryin', folks, I'm trying. I know I got off to a slow start this year. I didn't amass the usual cornucopia of goodies, although my good pal Wally had an awesome lower for me to raffled off. I don't have a book signed by a famous author this year (although I have offered one in the past). I haven't gotten as many pictures up as I have in years past, mainly because the weekends, when I can get out kilted, have been jam-packed this year.
And yes, I know what excuses are like...
With that said, there is a very cool one-of-a-kind York Arms lower up for grabs, along with one 30-round Magpul PMag. If I'm in the top three, I'll throw in a lower parts kit so all you'll need to finish the lower is a receiver extension, recoil buffer and spring, and stock. It's a pretty sweet package, especially considering that this lower is literally the only one of its kind in the world.
