For this week, I'll be doing "A Day In The Kilted Life" from this past weekend, starting with:
Running errands. When out and about, the "dress kilt" is a must.
Now, I've got the York Arms stripped lower receiver and the Brownells lower parts kit to be awarded to one lucky donor. I'm taking picture requests for donations, and not a single person has taken me up on it. Really?
What's it going to take to get you to donate to Team JayG? Do I need to dip into the great big box 'o' cool stuff and come up with something else to add to the prize mix? Because I can do that. Get me into second place by the end of the week and I'll add even more to the prize package.
For now, though, if you donate to KTKC on behalf of Team JayG, you get a shot at winning a York Arms lower and a parts kit with which to finish it. Everyone that donates gets a chance to win it. Every $5 is one chance (i.e. if you donate $25 you get 5 chances). As I've done in years past, I'll assign everyone numbers based on their chances and run a random number generator to determine a winner. Everyone who donates and e-mails me gets a shot.
To donate:
- Go here: Kilted to Kick Cancer Donate.
- Click an amount, or add in a custom amount, then check the box next to "This donation is made as part of a Fundraising Team".
- You'll see "Fundraising Team:" and a drop-down box. Pull up "Team JayG".
Third place now, second place ???
That is all.
