Kilted Picture, Day 23

Wow. Ambulance Driver posted the most recent standings. I'm humbled to report that you wonderful people have rocketed me into second place. Only $115 separates me from the big Kahuna of the 2014 Kilted to Kick Cancer Fundraiser, my blogson Borepatch. Now, I'm his blogfather. I'm humbled that he was inspired to participate in KTKC from watching me the past three years. I'm proud as hell of him and his fundraising effort. Team JayG.

Now, please, help me grind him into the earth like a bug...

Seriously, though, we're 3/4 of the way through KTKC. We as a group have raised over $7,500. That is AWESOME, and I am proud of everyone involved with the effort this year. Let's keep the gas mashed to the floor on this year's fundraiser and cross the finish line with a five digit figure. But first, your kilted pic: Team JayG.

That's me (attempting to) imitate the legendary Jerry Miculek and his three-second V-drill. No, I didn't actually shoot like that; that would be irresponsible and dangerous. No eyes or ears! I also know my limitations, and Jerry I ain't... Team JayG.

Now...

I'm definitely in the top three, so the lower parts kit from Brownells is back on the table. That means we have a one-of-a-kind York Arms stripped lower receiver, a lower parts kit, and a Magpul PMag in the prize package. I am not above chipping in more goodies if it means I can overtake the lead position, too... Team JayG.
