Siriusly Good Tunes...

Okay, I'm still digging the satellite radio thing. Heard on the drive into work this morning:
  • "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult ("History shows again and again/How nature points out the folly of men... GODZILLA!")

  • "Walkin' the Dog" by Aerosmith

  • "Slide it in" by Whitesnake (oh, if I had a dollar for every red plastic cup full of foamy keg beer I drank to this song, I'd be loaded...)

  • "Hellbent for Leather" by Judas Priest (who I hear is back on tour...)

  • "Everybody Wants Some" by Van Halen (which I still cannot hear without seeing the giant animated hamburger from "Better Off Dead"...)

Makes the drive to work a lot more bearable not to have to listen to 29 minutes of inane chatter just to hear the start of a good tune as I pull into the parking lot at work...

That is all.

"Better Off Dead" what a classic movie. . . Dude you are dating yourself with that one (and the songs too I guess). . .

Now I am going to have bad high school flashbacks. . . . welcome back to the 80's. . .

Why do I suddenly have the urge to watch Caddyshack?. . ..

Yep, I am a child of the '80s, no doubt about it...

Sometimes, late at night, I sneak into my closet and put on an Oxford shirt over a Polo shirt...

...and pop both collars...

I'm probably the only person on the planet who made a slideshow video of their son as a birthday present with "Everybody wants some" as part of the background music (I think it's mandatory that "With arms wide open" is to be included in that sort of thing, isn't it?). :)

Priest's new album, Nostradamus, a two disc concept spectacular, comes out on June 17

Tour starts June 3rd in Helsinki, Lands in Seattle July 22 before heading into Canada and actually commences in the US on August 6th in Southern Jersey. I'll be at the 2nd night August 7th at Nissan Pavilion here in the DC area. Closest they get to you is Hartford on Augsut 16th

And yeah, I'm siriusly still loving the Satellite Radio. Howard Stern, Thursday morning, was some of the funniest shit I've heard in years. First time in recent memory I just started laughing out loud in the car. Heck, I spilt coffee all over myself.
