One More Thing...

Someone remind me how many non-Democrats spoke at the DNC?

Yeah. Obama's gonna reach across party lines... My hairy ass he will...

That is all.

I will admit that fuckin' this country up has been a joint effort.

Another Obama tag line is "bring the country together." I'm convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that the aforementioned tag line is double-speak for "come to my view of the world or get stomped and villified in the press." Obama believes in compromise to the extent that compromise means "If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you." Gah.

Buck,

On that we are in complete agreement...

Brad,

It's "Together We Can" writ large.

My only hope, should the worst happen and Obama win, is that he be as effective a president as Deval has been a governor...

Actually the dems had quite a few Reps in their lineup, but with any political convention, it's mostly about putting on a show. They've been like that since '72.

Together we can . . . . recall Deval. Were it only true.

I'm sure you know that Deval is part of the Obama team's platform and policy committee. Yeah . . . the DIMocrat Party's **NATIONAL** platform is being created by our very own Coupe DeVal.

Don't even get me started about Obama's recently-resigned "National Muslim Outreach Coordinator". He resigned because of ties to HAMAS !!!!

Jay Severin says it well . . . American Political Liberalism is a religion of blind faith.

Stopping now 'cause I don't want to suffer from a RCOB-induced migraine.

I found a link with the DNC speaker lineup. If you can find a non-Democrat in that line-up be my guest...

Now, as for it being a dog-and-pony-show (and no different from the RNC), I'll agree completely. Although I'd put the time frame more along the lines of whenever it was first televised...
