Jury convicts Michael Addison of capital murder case; death penalty phase begins Monday
MANCHESTER – A jury today found Michael K. Addison guilty of capital murder in the October 2006 shooting death of city police Officer Michael L. Briggs (shown in the upper right corner of this page).

The jury of six men and six women reached the verdict after 12½ hours of deliberation over 2½ days. The Hillsborough County Superior Court trial now moves into its second stage when jurors must first decide whether Addison is eligible for the death penalty. That phase will start Monday.

Do the right thing, folks. Just remember one very simple fact:

Red is positive, black is negative. Git-r-(well)done.

And for the musical interlude portion of the blog, here's a little ditty to get stuck in your brain:

That is all.

Sadly, our choices are hanging or lethal injection. You can imagine how hanging a brutha with a lengthy criminal record, including many gun violations in massatwoshits, will play in TASS er, I mean boston globe (sic).

That Bartley-Fox act is working wikid pissah, I noticed the signs about the mandatory sentence at the state line were gone last time I went over the border.

Yes, sir, I do love me some old-school Metallica...and that cretin does need to ride the lightning, but I'd almost bet he won't.
Incidentally, have you heard anything from Death Magnetic? YMMV, but I think it's the best thing they've done since Justice...

Yeah I wouldn't put money on an execution. Hell the last time they executed a prisoner in the Live Free or Die State people were saying "Adolph Who???"

Still funny how a thug from Boston kills a cop in New Hampshire, and the gun he used he brought up with him from "Sensible Gun Control" Bean-town, to New Hampshire, which I would say would be in a running for tie with Alaska as 2nd Most permissive gun state in the US after the #1 of Vermont (AK doesn't require a carry permit for carry, but DOES restrict weapon possession in "Bars")

Almost makes that "Sensible Gun Control" look like a load of horseshit.... ; ]
