That'd be a reason to move up from a J-frame...

From what I've heard, the .327 Federal Magnum has about the same recoil as a moderate .38 Special. So it would be significant, but not severe.

Couldn't you fit 9 rounds of 32 in an L frame?
I was thinking with the Magnum round you might want to have extra room for reinforcement...
