Okay, so the Diznee trip is approaching fast and furious - this weekend, we're calling down to make our dinner reservations. Many people have recommended making the reservations ahead of time to avoid last-minute unpleasantness and such, so we're making them as soon as possible.
We're going to have some free time our first night in FLA, Saturday, June 6th. If anyone in the general Orlando, FL area (Robb, Greg & Beth, Jay?) would like to get together, we'd have time for a dinner or something then. We're staying at one of the value resorts on the Disney campus, and will not have a car, so we're pretty limited.
Anyhoo, if anyone in or near the area wants to get together with a foul-mouthed, shaved-head biker gun-nut who will most likely have been drinking heavily as a result of being on an airplane for the first time in nearly 10 years, give a holler... (Hmmmm. Wait. That's probably not the best sales pitch you've ever given, Jay...)
That is all.

Jay,
While you & yours are in The Land of the Four Foot Tall Rat, be sure to have at least one 'character breakfast' and dinner at least once downstairs at the Animal Kingdom Resort.

come on, I was on that plane too, it was only a few seconds of complete weightlessness. Think how much the people pay to experience that on purpose ;)
I think that trip is one of the main reason my husband hates to fly... thou he has been on a plane a few time since then.
BTW if you want any disney input just holler... been there a few time ;) the "little Sci-fi" thinks we should have spent less on the addition and made a trip down there instead.
I think the most important thing is getting to the park about 15 min before the official open time... you'll get 100 times more done in that first hour than you can for the rest of the day.

There's plenty more places to eat, drink, and be merry over at Downtown Disney. Your resort will likely have a free shuttle.
Just gimme a holler sometime before you arrive, and we can make plans. As far as I know we'll be around.
damn, if i still lived in orlando, you wouldnt even need a hotel to stay in...
ahhh well... come to NC and hang out some time.
Enjoy your time down in there in the swamps. The kids will go ga ga over it. Don't forget to try out one of the water parks where you can really swim with the sharks.
Been there a few times. I was impressed with the way they run the entire property. Better/more efficient than most state governments. Start working on your tan.
Just keep reminding me about it. I've got the attention span of a
LOOK!! SQUIRRELS!
Maybe I don't blog, but I would like to join the party. Let me know when and where. Thanks.
