File Under "W"...

...for "Ways to get dead real quick"...

Airport dust-up got nasty, trooper says
Perhaps you've been there, idling in front of an airport terminal hoping your family member or long-lost college buddy appears before the approaching state trooper shoos you away. Margaret M. Greer was told to move along Sunday evening as she waited for her husband at Logan Airport, but police say she didn't go quietly - and ended up in court because of it.

Greer, a portfolio manager from Wellesley, allegedly lowered the window of her Mercedes Benz ML320 SUV just an inch when the trooper, Sergeant Danial Wildgrube, approached and told her she would have to move because she was obstructing traffic in a bus lane. Greer merely pointed to a nearby vehicle and told him to take care of that motorist first, Wildgrube said in his report of the incident. He said he repeated the demand, but she shut her window and ignored him.

What ensued before shocked onlookers was a protracted confrontation in which, court papers allege, Greer nearly ran the trooper over as she repeatedly drove out of reach, only to be chased down by the trooper as he tried in vain to wrest Greer from her car.

Kudos to the officer for not shooting this stupid bint on the spot. Now, there's been a bit of a debate on this story over in the NES forums. Some folks, quite rightfully, I might add, have reserved their opinions based on what limited reporting there is on this matter. There were eyewitnesses to the actions, and one can only assume plenty of video surveillance, so it's only a matter of time whether she's exonerated or indicted by testimony other than the officer's...

Assuming that the officer's version is correct, this woman is damn lucky she didn't get a .40 S&W attitude adjustment - cops get mighty upset when you try to kill them, as well they should...

That is all.

rule of thumb. statie tells you move along. you move along. circle the perimeter, return. look for husband. wait. get told to move along... wash, rinse repeat. any dumb ass knows this rule.

better yet, massport installed a FREE "cell phone" waiting lot. i LOVE the cell phone waiting lot. i pick friends up all the time. not knowing how long it will take me, sometimes it takes 2 minutes to get there and i have an hour to kill. i wait. in the lot. with a book.

ms. greer is a dumbass entitled jerk who should have been arrested. period. end of conversation.

wonder how mr. greer ended up getting home... heh.

did you hear the howie carr show? she went on craigslist trying to find witnesses to her being abused.

none of the responders were kind... and she was pissed.

Like Jay said: assuming the officer's version is correct (and I'm inclined to believe it is) then this woman is a narcissistic twit. I haven't seen any video footage but I hope the officer put her in handcuffs face down on the ground - in plain view of everyone.

Well, I'm confused (nothing new there) about this. The report said she nearly ran him over by driving out of reach every time he got near her. If you're driving away from someone, just exactly how do you almost run them over?

Well, for starters, he caught up to her when she got stuck in traffic and tried to open her door to get her out of her car.

She then took off, knocking him down.

Also, if you read the story, she nearly ran him over head on.

She is DAMN lucky he didn't draw his sidearm and put 15 rounds through her windshield...

Any bets on who she voted for in the last election?

I almost feel the need to write this in tweetspeak...

"ZOMG WTFBBQ LOOOOOOSER LADY SHOULDA BEEN VENTILATED"

Just got around to reading the article, and without knowing the force options available to Mass SP, I can presume at my airport (county sheriff does security) she'd have been sprayed and/or tased when he opened the door.

The conversation on the CL forum is priceless. "It was a low-speed chase, they only needed 5 cars."
