When you get a phone call in the middle of the day from a buddy to tell you that Wal-Mart has .380ACP in stock (and to ask if you need any), you might be a gun nut. And the mark of a true friend, indeed, that he's willing to share an ammo source in this day and age...

A real frined wouldn't bother to call you. A real friend would pick you up a couple boxes and drop them off at your house, knowing that in this day and age, yes, you need them.

I can't find .380 anywhere here. A friend in the state next door found me some. There will be a hostage exchange. .380 for cranberry and white chocolate oatmeal cookies.
How about when you are at the gun show and you find a stash of .380 HP($40 per box thankyouverymuch) and you call your brother (who is across the room) to see how many he wants (2)? It has been hell down here to find any .380 in the stores.
Hmmm. I've got a bunch of .380 (even some Federal hydra-shoks).

Agree with Rick and Tx- Now I did find some and sent them to somebody I knew needed em, and forgot to tell them it was coming... So they thought it was ammo from heaven :-)
Ditto for Rick's comment.
Last week ran across some 44 magnum - bought 2 boxes for a friend. Had SW call up said friend to see if he needed more since WS was in the city and could drop by to get more. Friend said he was set except hollow points.
Tuesday, saw 44 mag HPs - picked him up a box. Friend will get a nice surprise this weekend.
Now if I could get a nice surprise and find some 9mm!
