Holy crap, there's a lot of work involved doing nothing all day on a weekend...
That is all.

They've got too many activities. There's only one activity they need to be actively involved in and that's shooting. Get TheBoy started in archery. You too. I think you'll find it to be a lot of fun. Anybody can pull a trigger on a gun and hit the bullseye a half mile away, but try hitting a bullseye with an arrow from 80 yards. :)
No time scheduled for taking a crap? Or scratching yourself? Remember, you volunteered for this job...
SLACKER!!! ;-)
OrangeNeck,
I like the way you think... :)
Believe me, I agree they've over-scheduled. Fortunately, swimming lessons, baseball, and Cub Scouts more or less wrap up around the same time, so we'll have a couple of months in the summer to relax...
agg79,
Yeah, I know. I just didn't realize how intensive the overtime would be... ;)
At least they're starting to sleep later on weekends. That's a godsend...
AGW,
Heh.
I *am* trying to figure out when I'll have time to take TheBoy to the range for his first time, too...
Heh- things have changed a bit... We used to have to make our OWN fun, and if we wanted to go to Scouts, we got on our bikes and pedaled away :-) Lots LESS parental involvement in those days.
I sympathize. Especially today.
Weekends are just time to get all the OTHER stuff done, you know: the stuff that you were too busy to do during the work week? Yeah, that stuff. Plus everyone else's, too! Deep breaths, Jay.
