I've been a bad gunnie. It's been a month since I last made it to the range.
There, I said it.
Between baseball, Cub Scouts, and planning for Disney, the time allocated for shootie goodness is awfully short. Add into that that I don't like to go shooting without proactive replenishment of shootin' stock - and ammo has been mighty scarce lately - it's been a long month.
However, I'll be going this coming weekend for certain. I've got another new shooter lined up for Saturday... This is one of my Scout dads, a gentleman who has always wanted to try shooting but has never had the opportunity. Well, this weekend he gets his opportunity.
Note to self: Pick up paper plates...
That is all.

Sometimes, life gets in the way.
With scouts/baseball/school/vacation, you will find time a fleeting thing to pursue your passion. Especially now that you are a scout leader (Free time? What's that?).
Jay,
Check your Yahoo e-mail if you still have it (memo to self: update Jay's contact info).
Jay,
Would by chance happen to be taking Mr. (a)musings? Hope so, as he missed out on the last time.

agg79,
Exactly.
Even having the indoor range available 24/7 isn't helping all that much - by the time I'm at a point where I could get there, it's 9PM at night and I'm too tired to move...
Ricky,
Read and responded. Thanks a million buddy!
Brad,
Actually, it's a different noob. You wanna come with again?
;)
Jay,
Call me on The Brad-phone after 5pm today. I'd like to help out but My Darling Charming Wife may have a thing, or two, to say about the situation.
On an unrelated note, made the switch to decaf this weekend. Headaches haven't been too bad.

You shouldn't feel bad, Jay. Due to finances, I'm generally limited to buying 2 boxes of ammo a month, so I usually only get to the range once a month. Even worse, 2 boxes equals only 50 rounds for each gun. Not really a sufficient amount of range time, but all I can afford.
Hopefully my new Ruger Mk III will help increase my range time. It's good for working on fundamentals, even if I still won't get the time I really need on my actual carry guns.
ometimes it happens. We hadn't been to the range for 5-6 weeks. Since it was a yucky day out Sunday, we went for 300 rounds worth of time.
Plan on getting out in another 2 weeks, to make up for lost time.
