We'll be loading up the portable Casa del G. and heading south for a week on Cape Cod over the weekend. As I did before our Disney trip, I'm hoping to have a couple posts prepared for each day, with the possibility of vacation-related posts and/or current events as time permits. There's a wi-fi spot at the local coffee shop (actually, McDonald's, but beggars can't be choosers), so I can get in my java fix and my internet fix at the same time, all before the rest of the sleepyheads wake up. It's even close enough to bike to!
So, with that in mind, what would y'all like to see covered? Cars, guns, bikes, trucks, politics... Well, maybe not so much politics - to be perfectly frank, I'm getting pretty sick of politics, period, and since I'm on vacation, I'd rather focus on fun stuff instead. Besides, it'd be a bitch to come back from vacation and find the black helicopters circling my house.
Again.
Anyhoo, any thoughts/questions/suggestions are welcome - pretty much anything is up for discussion.

How about an overview of your self defense training/practice sessions at the range?
What distance do you shoot at, what do you try to work on each and every time, what do you add to help improve, etc?

Guns & bikes, and how best to combine the two? I'm thinking a shoulder holster + vest arrangement has to be better than my pocket holster.
I've been meaning to ask you a question that's been on my mind for a while and is somewhat related pertain to your vacation plans. Here's my question: how do you store your firearms when not carrying and you're not at home? Locking case in the car/camper? Does it have to be bolted to the floor/wall? In the drawer/glove compartment with a trigger lock? Inquiring minds want to know...
