John Hughes, the director of such films as “Sixteen Candles,” “Weird Science,” “Pretty in Pink,” “The Breakfast Club,” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” has passed on. Rest in Peace, John; your characters will live on in our nostalgic memories.
