Wanted: 250 Pounds of Spaghetti

NH Restaurant Sets Meatball Record
Matthew Mitnitsky, owner of Nonni's Italian Eatery in Concord, said Sunday that a 222.5-pound meatball was authenticated as the world's largest after being weighed by state weights and measures officials.

A Guinness Book of World Records official confirmed the big meatball as a record breaker and presented Mitnitsky with a plaque. The old record stood at 198.6 pounds.
This meatball weighs nearly 50 pounds more than *I* do. I can guarantee you that somewhere out there, some goombah is thinking to himself, "I could eat dat"... The AP has a picture of the monster meatball here in this article.

Now, when this meatball rolls off the table it measures on the Richter scale...

That is all.

PISSED,

Something tells me that 223 pounds of ground beef ain't going down in one sitting... ;)

Weerd,

That was my first thought - I'll bet it's a brick oven like for pizzas or some setup like that.

Jay,
I may be dating myself, but I don't really care. After seeing this post, my first though was of the (very) old Alka Seltzer commercial where the main character comments, "Dat's a spicy meat-uh-ball !!!"
