Just a quick reminder to vote today in the special election to fill Ted Kennedy's seat. While I harbor no illusions about the chances of a conservative winning the seat, I'd like to see Scott Brown take the GOP nomination and give whichever communist wins the Democratic nomination a good run for his or her money.
Plus I like reminding people that Ted Kennedy is no longer my Senator...
That is all.

If I lived in Mass, I'd like reminding people that the Drunk Slob is no more too. Never mind anybody else, I'd enjoy just reminding _me_ of it. And may he experience the full joy of reincarnation, Wally McCrae style.
Full fathom five the Slob doth lie
Of his bones are tubeworms made
Those are slugs that were his eyes;
All he sought to make doth fade,
Or doth suffer a sea-change
Into toxic sludge and mange.
Hagfish hourly ring his knell:
Ding-dong.
Hark! now I hear them — Ding-dong, bell.
A conservative in his seat would be a most appropriate end to his career.
Went to vote before breakfast this morning (my local poling place is just around the corner). I'll admit, it did kind of feel like I was outing myself when I told the little old lady working the table that "actually I'd like the other one," as she reached for the Democratic ballot.
Gee I thought it was the people of Massachusetts' seat, not Ted Kennedy's.
Oddly enugh the 4 people ahead of me all took the Republican ballot. I'm registered with the Stupid party so I didn't have (or want) a choice, the Mrs. took the Republican one too.
Let's just say we take the GOAL enforcement seriously.
And this town doesn't seem to be aware it's in Eastern Mass...
