Number 34

Update: Surviving suspect arrested in Marion home invasion

SILVER SPRINGS SHORES – While smoking a cigarette on her front porch Tuesday morning, Kelley Trempler described her 24-year-old son as "a very lost soul."

With tears rolling down her cheeks, Trempler said Jeffrey Alan Kenney had problems with alcohol since he was 14. He had been in and out of the Marion County Jail and a treatment facility.

Those problems led Kenney to burgularize the home of one Gary Wroblewski. Wroblewski is 62 years old and wheelchair bound; Kenney was 24 years old, had an 18-year old accomplice, and was allegedly armed himself with plans to go "all out". Exactly what chance Wroblewski would have had against two men half his age is unclear; however with Samuel Colt's great Equalizer at his side, we won't have to wonder.

Dead Goblin Count: 34.

That is all.

Tip 'o' the keyboard to Bob of The Drawn Cutlass for e-mailing me this article to add to the count. Thanks Bob!

From the article:

Thinking it was suspicious someone would be knocking at his door so late, Wroblewski said he grabbed his gun, a .45 Colt handgun he calls "Judge,"

Sounds like he had a Taurus Judge, and if so, this is definitive proof that it can do it's job.
