Well, here in MA, our nonagenarians will kill you!

Woman, 98, indicted in death of 100-year-old nursing home roommate

(CNN) -- A Massachusetts grand jury has indicted a 98-year-old woman, accused of strangling her 100-year-old nursing home roommate, on a second-degree murder charge.

Prosecutors say Laura Lundquist killed centenarian Elizabeth Barrow, a resident of Brandon Woods Nursing Home in Dartmouth, after the two women had an argument over a table Lundquist had placed at the foot of Barrow's bed.

Barrow was found dead September 24 with a plastic shopping bag tied loosely around her head, according the Bristol County district attorney's office. An autopsy indicated Barrow had been strangled.

While obviously we regret the needless loss of life, one can only stand back and admire the level of hate that would drive a 98 year old woman to strangle the life out of her own roommate. That's a level of hate that can only be reached in a state like Massachusetts, where our drivers routinely win awards the world over for "Worst. Drivers. Ever."; our criminal "justice" system is more interested in punishing gun owners than child molesters, and the answer to every question is "Raise Taxes"...

Massachusetts. Even our old ladies aren't afraid of our justice system.

That is all.

Well, you've got to wonder... I mean if she goes to prison, at least she gets a private room (cell), right?

Impossible! Guns are the cause of all violence and murder!...

Sadly, Ms Lundquist has dementia and is not likely to be held accountable for her actions. I'd say that more of the blame lays with the nursing home, and no doubt some with the laws of this state.

There is no way that Lundquist will be prosecuted, let alone convicted.

She will likely end up at some sort of secure facility, but far too late to help Mrs. Barrow.

It's a sad situation all around.

Hell, I've seen ladies older than that chasing coyotes out of their chickens and wrestling chupacabras to save their goats.

She's 98 and living in a Nursing home...I suspect prison life for her will just be a change of address, and likely even that won't happen.
