Score ANOTHER One for the Good Guys!

Top of the Chain e-mailed me this story from, well, practically his backyard (no, I asked, it wasn't him...)

Holdup victim kills robber along Dunn Road
HAZELWOOD -- A man who was robbed at gunpoint in Hazelwood on Tuesday night fought back and shot the robber to death, police say.

The victim of the holdup pulled his own gun and fatally shot the robber at about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday on a street in Hazelwood.
YEAH! That's the way we like to hear it! Even with the drop on him, he manages to draw and fire a critical stopping shot. Give that man a gold star and a free box of ammo!

[pauses to let cheers die down]

This is exactly the kind of story the mainstream media won't touch with a 100 foot pole. You've got an older man robbed by a younger man - in a world without firearms, the young, fast, and strong can prey on the old and weak and infirm with little repercussion. Much like what's happening in Britain every day now. Not placing artificial and unconstitutional roadblocks to law-abiding citizens carrying firearms means more dead goblins and fewer victims.

The only people who could possibly object to that are nanny-state proponents who want the all-powerful government to have a monopoly on force...

Dead Goblin Count: 41

That is all.

And still another, by way of TFS Magnum: Would-be robber shot and killed by merchant.

and more anti-gun brainwashing evident in this quote:
"Richard Garger, 71, who lives on Eagles Way Court about a half-block from the shooting, said he heard eight shots.
"What are the odds of two guys with guns walking down the street?" he said. "It's like the Old West."

Hey pants-shitter, ever thought that maybe its a smart move to pack heat if somebody got jacked right in your own backyard!

These people would have Professor Darwin shaking his head.

This happened in my backyard Jay - my kids go to school in Hazelwood; and this is why my wife and I are always armed.
