Okay, it's actually getting somewhat close to crunch time now. I looked at the schedule for when Mrs. G. has to work, and have narrowed the potential dates down to two days. We also have a tentative list of attendees started, so let's pick the date and get things squared away. I'm waiting to hear from doubletrouble about when I can come out to help him rebuild the backstop (ahem...*g*), but I'm thinking sometime in the next couple of months we should have things squared away. Original post here.
Onto the specifics...
Date: Since I'd like Paul from Stateline Gun Shop to be able to make an appearance (maybe even with some of his wonderful toys), I'd prefer to have the shoot on a Sunday (I can also take Monday off to clean everything...). Mrs. G. is off the weekend of July 24/25 and July 31/August 1st, so let's choose between Sunday, July 25th and Sunday, August 1st.
Time: We historically start at 10:00 AM and wind up around or before 5 PM, although I have a feeling if we were to put away the guns, coat ourselves in serious bug spray, and break out a few frosty malt beverages there wouldn't be much complaining... ;)
Location: Doubletrouble's sooper seekrit range, the location of which is highly classified.
Attendees:
Lissa
JD & sprog
ZerCool & possibly Mrs. ZerCool
Brad_in_MA
Ross
Mr & Mrs. Mopar
Wally
Weer'd Beard
Colin
Possible:
pdb (SRSLY?!?!?!)
Angry Patriot
That's twelve definites (not counting our host and your humble scribe) and two possibles. There's still room for more, but slots are filling up quick!
Miscellaneous: As with last year, this is a "pack-in, pack-out" shoot - if you want to bring a 1968 International Harvester to shoot the hell out of, go right ahead. Just be prepared to drag the bullet-riddled carcass out with you. Also, our group really is getting too big to order lunch, so I would recommend bringing lunch with you this year. Calling the sandwich shop for two dozen subs was a little much last year...
Okay folks, let's pick a date and start deciding on what toys to bring!
That is all.

I'm in -- either date.
Same here...either date is fine.
need to check with the wife, but right now either date looks fine to me.
August 1st, I'm a yes. July 25th, maybe.
Either date is good here
August 1 yea, July 25 nay. Also, I plan to bring more target fruit, and to see if I can find a thicker cutting board.
August 1 would be my preference, not sure if I can get the 25th off.
And since we're deciding what toys to bring, any particular requests from the Z Collection?
I'm clear on either. But I'll vote for August 1st too because I love Scotaku and Zercool!
Don't say I never did nuttin' for you guys! ; ]
Oh, I think Mike wants to come! Mark him down as a possible, please, and I'll confirm :)
And either date would be fine!
I thought I'd said I'll be there. Must have had a Senior Moment or something.
Either date should work for me . . .

Okay, it's looking like August 1st is the better of the two days. Once doubletrouble confirms that the range is ready, we'll have it finalized.
I'll add Libertyman, Marko, scotaku, and borepatch to the attendees list, and Mike (Lissa's hubby) to the maybe list. That gives us 16 definites and three maybes, still doable but getting close on the final number...
8/1 works much better for me.
Somehow I missed the original post. Weird considering I hit your blog every day. Anyway, either weekend works equally well for me.
July 25, yes. Aug, no.
Colin
Jealous! Too bad I'm not visiting my mom that week.
Make lots of holes for me!
I'm in for Aug 1st...
Andrew and son are IN!
July 25 works for me. I'll be at sea Aug 1.
Let me see if I can't arrange some transport. I'll need a definite date.
It's looking very likely for August 1st. Most respondents have either declared no preference or a preference for 8/1.
I need to hear from the site owner first, then we'll make it definite.
Count the Mrs and myself in. 8/1 works.
