Jackson rips Gilbert's LeBron comments
CHICAGO -- Jesse Jackson criticized Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert on Sunday, saying Gilbert sees LeBron James as a "runaway slave" and that the owner's comments after the free-agent forward decided to join the Miami Heat put the player in danger.
Shortly after James announced his decision last week, Gilbert fired off an incendiary letter to Cleveland's fans, ripping the 25-year-old and promising to deliver a title before James wins one. He called James' decision "cowardly" and later told The Associated Press he believes James quit during a handful of Cavaliers playoff games.
How's it feel to be clawing for relevancy, Je$$e? Are you looking to $hakedown the NBA next? This is beyond the pale here, folks - Jack$on is deliberately injecting race into a situation that has absolutely nothing to do with the race of either person involved. Whether LeBron was white, black, yellow, green, or purple, the owner of the team that gave him his big start - fresh out of high school, remember - can be forgiven a little vitriol towards James for deserting the team after the season they just had.
Seriously? A "runaway slave"? Je$$e Jack$on is comparing LeBron James - who has made millions playing a freaking game - to a slave because of comments the Cleveland coach made? Gilbert's comments sound exactly like you'd expect a big league coach who just lost his star player - regardless of the color of the player's skin. He's upset that James left with no warning; he feels that James didn't play up to his potential in two previous championship games; there is quite simply nothing about James' race anywhere in anything that the coach has said.
I guess in a way it's a good sign - if this is the best thing that our racial warlords have to get worked up about, we must not have any serious racial problems left in America, right?

This was my thought when I heard this earlier this morning. Since President Feckless was elected both Jackson and that other racist Sharpton have become irrelevant. They can't complain that blacks can't succeed since a black man is in the White House.
Don't worry, though. It's very likely that they'll be back in business in January of 2013.
Jackson's just P.O.ed that Queen LeBrat left our fair city and DID NOT go to Chicago, where Jackson could sit ringside and use him as a stooge for his own "Rainbow/Push" shakedown operation. Haven't heard if Rev.Al's going to back up Jesse or not, but LeBum didn't go to the Knick's either, so stay tuned.
