So I'm at Fenway with the kids for "Futures at Fenway" watching the local AAA team take on another AAA team. It's the Big League park with the hometown team - no big egos or salaries here. My sister-in-law had a few extra tickets so the kids and I got to go while Mrs. G. works. I like that trade-off...
And now, if you'll excuse me, I have a game to watch with my kids...
That is all.

Hope it was a good one and you didn't get rained out!
Boy, did they get rained out. Lot's of flash flooding in Boston and areas north. Just saw video of rain water pouring down the stairs into the concession area at Fenway.
Oh, we got rained out alright
Water wasn't just coming down the stairs, TOTWTYTR. It was coming up through the drains, too.
And then Storrow was flooded to a depth of about 3' - I saw a Corolla dead in the water, literally, with water up over the windowsill.
And the tits-on-a-bull useless Boston PD didn't block off the ramp to Storrow for OVER AN HOUR.
It took me 2.5 hours to get home. I live ~ 37 miles away.
FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...
The good news is that in years to come you and the kids will still be telling the story about the rain at Fenway and the long ride home. You'll be glad it happened.
I'm enjoying the Cape Cod Baseball league this year. The players have to sell 50/50 raffle tickets in the stands when not on the field. YD Redsox put on youth clinics. These players must check their egos at the door. Great show for the kids.
