Let's Play A Game...

...it's called "Imagine If".

Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson violated rules, steered scholarships to relatives
Longtime Dallas congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson has awarded thousands of dollars in college scholarships to four relatives and a top aide's two children since 2005, using foundation funds set aside for black lawmakers' causes.

The recipients were ineligible under anti-nepotism rules of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, which provided the money. And all of the awards violated a foundation requirement that scholarship winners live or study in a caucus member's district.

"Imagine If" it had been a Republican who had been caught directing scholarships to relatives and aides... Hell, look at the contortions the media went through with Dick Cheney and Halliburton, trying to imply that Cheney was awarding contracts to Halliburton because he was drawing a pension from them - as though somehow he would benefit even though he'd left the company already.

The issue isn't that the media is biased - that's blatantly obvious - but in how little they even bother to hide it these days...

That is all.

They aren't even trying to hide it now.. the evironut that stormed the Discovery Channel building was described on MSLSD as....

“we’re hearing more about the list of demands on his website, he has a passion for what’s taking place around the world”…

HE HAS A PASSION?? A FUCKING PASSION!!??

Lets pretend this was a person that was passionate about the size of government and the amount of spending and the non transparency of this administration.. and lets pretend they went to a rally to show their passion... do you think the news would say .. "Oh they are passionate about what is going on"?

No, they are labeled as right wing nuts, knuckledraggers, gun toting bible reading teabaggers.....

Nov 3rd CAN'T come any faster....
