Fair's Fair...

Breda posted this picture of her excellent prone rifle form. I figured it was only fair to post my own (you might want to have small children and those with weak stomachs leave the room):

Prone Jay G

MArooned: Because where else are you gonna get your USRDA of genuine Masshole?

That is all.

Sorry dude, rather look at Breda.

Good grief.
Yep, I'm w/Alan on this one.

I believe Breda's well executed prone position reflects her Appleseed training.

Go get you some.

I would certain hope y'all would...

Can you post a link to that t-shirt you're wearing?

Forget prone positions. We need the true story on the Snubbie From Hell's attempt to take out a certain individual while said snubbie was in the hands of a different certain individual.

Seriously, when did that start happening? Did you know about it and just forget to tell eveybody?

How much is it gonna cost to fix, and are you gonna fix it or sell it?

I've been i touch with both certain individuals. Their stories don't quite match. We need yours to round things out.

stay safe.

Darren, it's available at Gadsden & Culpepper.

skidmark, it appears that the Snubbie from Hell has an issue with shaving lead. I'm going to bring it to the gun shop to have it sent back to S&W - I'm the original owner, so it should be covered under warranty.

@skidmark: The "Snubbie from Hell" launched the shaving to the left, else I would be the one complaining of being shot by Breda (as I was on her right at the time of the incident).

@Darren: All the cool kids wear shirts from http://www.gadsdenandculpeper.com/

@Jay_G: I'm with Alan on this one too. :)

And if I'd known about it, I wouldn't have brought it, let alone let anyone shoot it - that's plain unsafe!

I imagine that S&W will make it right - Weerd Beard had issues with his model 617 and they basically replaced the entire cylinder and crane to make it right.

Nice job with photoshop. No hint that the berm was cropped off the top of that pic :-)

Yeah Jay, my 617 is literally as good as new. Maybe better than new as the trigger has that really slick broken-in feeling, and seems smoother than I last remember, probably because they gave the lockwork a good scrubbing, didn't take them long either.

Also like that holster, who made it?

That's a separate post for tomorrow Weerd...

What did S&W charge you for the work, if you don't mind my asking?

Sorry, butt Breda's got you beat. There's just something about her picture....

Lead shaving or not, that TRULY is a Snubbie from Hell! My trigger finger is still healing from where it bit me. Oh well, just another War Wound to tell the youngin's.

Actually, I'm more interested in your pants, not what's filling them out. I've been looking for ankle pockets since I left the USAF (loved them on the ABUs - about all I loved about the ABUs). What brand might these be?
Oh, and Breda's got it all over you.

Jay, I swear I'm going to show up on your doorstep next Saturday morning (10/23) and drag you by the hair over to the Appleseed at Harvard Sportsman's. That position is awful.

Oh... right.

WV= "goanate". Me'n bubba done goanate a whole pizza by ourselfs.

$25 bucks for shipping, and just waiting for them to get done.

I had Stateline ship it out, which probably saved me a bit of scratch.

Oh and Ross...just because Jay is bald, doesn't mean he doesn't have hair to grab! hehehhee

Weerd,

Jay's Italian. He's got hair growing out of his hair.

Jay G;
Ya gotta get up off yer chest in that prone position. Pull your right leg up, putting your weight on your left ribcage. This minimizes the affect of heartbeat and breathing. It also allows the right elbow to get under the rifle more vertically for better support.
Breda's form was good. Them Appleseed instructers did a fine job. :- )
