One week to the first ever Northcoast blogmeet! In about a week's time, the East Coast meets the Lake Shore in an epic meeting of food, guns, and fun. And bacon. At least I hope there will be bacon. Give Breda a yell if you're in the area and would like to attend and she can fill you in on the details (hey, they're so secret even *I* don't know where I'm going!)

Open Invitation for New Shooters
Just want to extend an open invitation to all potential new shooters in the Northern Virginia area. If you have never shot a firearm, or would like to get back into the shooting sports, or are an accomplished shooter who'd like to try something in my arsenal, give me a shout.

Sounds like fun! Wish I could go, but I'll be camping that weekend, and since I need to reserve the site I want a year in advance to get it, I'm not giving it up. :P
Besides, it it's in the area I would expect it to be, it's a kinda rough drive. When they coined the term "white line fever" they must have had that 400 mile strech of I80 in PA in mind.
FYI: Weather Channel predicts a 7 day stretch of NO Rain, Temperatures in the Mid-60's. So it looks like we'll be missing the Northern Ohio Trench Foot Season. For Road Construction updates, visit www.BuckeyeTraffic.org. Gasoline in the area was running about $2.69 to $2.79 in the region for basic. For those who partake of the Mortal Sin of Smoking, cigarettes are running $56.00 a carton outside the Cuyahoga County Line,($10.00 more INSIDE Cuyahoga County to pay for all the Stadiums and Arenas of all our World Champion Sports Teams) so buy them before you enter Cleveland if you are coming from the East or the South.
