Note: If whoever's responsible for this wonderful contraption happens to stumble across my humble little blog, please, good person, accept my most sincere thanks and gratitude that folks such as yourself exist. A V8-powered snowthrower? You, good sir or madam, are a genius. I wish I'd thought of this myself back when I had the Cadillac and a perfectly good 4.1L V8 just sitting around unused... That looks like it would through snow over your neighbor's yard!
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but only beer could fuel the desire for something like that snowblower!
That is all.

Nothing bad can happen here.
"Hey, hold mah beer. Got to clear the driveway. Need to blow the carbon out of that engine anyway."
"Tonight on Spike, it's Pimp My SnowBlower!"
Daddybear had me spitting out my coffee.
Be careful when you're clearing around the truck. That thing looks like it would go right through it.
Here it is in operation:

There are a few other videos of it, which you'll see in the sidebar.
Jay,
Why stop at a v8? How about a jet (aka gas turbine) powered unit. Just think of the RPM's you'll get on the impellers !!!! You could toss that snow hundreds of yards. I humbly suggest you consider the General Electric J85 turbo-jet. Small, light-weight, compact and quite powerful.

Fire that bad boy up at 6am and feel the neighbors love!!
Of course it you don't care what your neighbors think....
Certainly something Tim the Toolman Taylor would appreciate.
Tiny Shindaiwa weed-wahcker engine, that V8 there, or six borrowed engines from an old B-36 Peacemaker and a snowblower is still only as good as the shear pins. Hope the pins on that one are some good quality rigging.
Madam? C'mon Jay, this has man written all over it. Man and beer.
Here is a link to more details on this monster.
Looks like they were actually selling these before the recession ate the business (website down)...
Maybe you and someone from GBC could fab one up?
